Café L’air De La Sirène in Universal Epic Universe takes theme park dining to a whole new level. Located in Place Cachée in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic area, Café L’air De La Sirène offers classic French cuisine. This is where you get that Butterbeer crêpe everyone has been talking about, but the menu also includes items like French onion soup, quiche, and baguettes.
Upon entering the café, guests are greeted by an interior that’s rich in detail. Chandeliers glitter from the ceiling, and the walls are adorned with tall portraits of witches and wizards representing various wizarding communities around the world. You can spot a witch in a Baeuxbaton uniform! These portraits, as well as the wallpaper and architecture itself, feature magical creatures from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.

Guests have their choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Both choices have their perks. Indoors, you can take in the vast details of the interior decorating and see the gorgeous bar area. The outside tables have the feeling of a classic Paris café, with views of the streets and Cirque Arcanus.
Just like Le Gobelet Noir (read our review here), the food at Café L’air De La Sirène is served on real plates rather than plastic. The presentation is excellent and the food is top notch. Sitting in the lush atmosphere, eating this type of food, it’s hard to believe you’re in a theme park.
Scroll down to read our review of the items we sampled from the Café L’air De La Sirène menu (Quiche Lorraine and Thé Fraise).
Quiche Lorraine

The Quiche Lorraine is baked with bacon rather than the classic choice of ham, but arguably, that makes this dish all the better. The crust was buttery, flaky perfection and the Mornay sauce was delicious! If you order this dish during breakfast hours, it comes with a side of berries, but if you order at lunch, the side is a salad. We stopped in for lunch, so ours included the salad, which was very good. It consisted of fresh greens, tomatoes, onions, and a light dressing. If you’ve had a salad at a theme park before, then you know exactly what we mean when we say that these tomatoes didn’t look at all like “sad theme park tomatoes.”
Thé Fraise

To drink, we sampled Thé Fraise, one of the specialty drinks offered at Café L’air De La Sirène and Bar Moonshine. This drink is a strawberry mint iced tea and was very refreshing on a hot day! Thé Fraise actually stood out to us as one of the best specialty drinks we tasted during our time at the park.
